What is a booking? A booking is one customer buying one or more things from you. Here is what the list shows and how to read a row. Find a booking Search by reference or name, or narrow the list with filters when you only have partial information. Items: what the customer bought Every line on the booking, with the option, the traveler type, the quantity, the price and the exact dates. Travelers: the payer and the people going Two separate things on one tab. Who gets the invoice, and who actually travels. Payments: schedules, links and refunds Everything about money on one booking. What is due when, what has arrived, how to ask for it, and how to give it back. Invoices and Documents Raise an invoice, and find the contract, voucher or ticket attached to a booking. Suppliers: what you have confirmed with them Track the people delivering the trip. What service, what it costs you, and whether they have confirmed. Activity and Metadata The full history of a booking, filtered by kind, plus the technical identifiers support will ask for.

Money on a booking

Schedules, recording payments, sending payment links, and refunding a customer.

Payment schedules: what is owed and when A schedule is your plan for the money. A deposit now and a balance later, or one payment up front. It is a promise, not cash received. Record a payment Money that arrived outside Voyant, such as a bank transfer or cash, has to be entered by hand. Here is how, and what each field is for. Payment links: getting paid without chasing Generate a link, send it to the customer, and they pay by card themselves. No card details over the phone. Refunds: giving money back Record money returned to a customer, by any method. A refund in Voyant is a record of what you did, not an instruction to a card machine. Guarantees: money held, not collected A card held against damage, a preauthorization, an agency letter. Security you hold in case something goes wrong, rather than money you have taken.
