What is a product?
A product is one thing you sell, such as a walking tour, a boat trip or a three-night stay. Here is what every product is made of.
Voyant Support
A product is one thing you sell. A morning walking tour is a product. A sunset cruise is a product. Three nights at a guesthouse is a product.
Everything customers can buy from you starts life as a product.
What every product is made of
No matter what you sell, a product holds the same four things.
- The description. The name, the summary, what is included, what is not, and your terms.
- The shape. How customers pick a date, and how many people you can take. See Booking modes.
- The prices. What each kind of traveler pays, plus any extras.
- The dates. The specific departures customers can actually book.
A tour and a hotel stay use the same four things. They just fill them in differently.
Where products live
Click Products in the left menu. That is the list of everything you sell.
Each row shows you the essentials at a glance: the name, whether it is on sale, the price it starts from, and how customers pick a date.
