Organizations: the companies you deal with

Companies rather than individuals, each marked as a client, partner, supplier or other.

Voyant Support

Some of your business is with companies rather than individuals. A corporate travel manager, an agency reselling your tours, a company sending staff on an incentive trip.

Click Organizations.

The organizations list showing travel companies with their industry, relation of Client, website and active status
Companies you work with, with their industry and relation.

The four relations

  • Client, a company that buys from you.
  • Partner, somebody you work alongside.
  • Supplier, a company that provides services to you.
  • Other, anything that does not fit.

Filter by relation to see just your clients, or just your suppliers.

Organizations and Suppliers

You may notice suppliers appear in both places. They serve different purposes.

  • Organizations is the address book entry: who they are, their tax ID, their terms, the people who work there.
  • Distribution then Suppliers is the operational record: contracts, services, availability, and the rates you buy at.

Use Organizations when you want to know who somebody is, and Suppliers when you want to know what you can buy and at what price. See Suppliers.

Statuses

Active, Inactive and Archived. Archive rather than delete, so past bookings keep their company.
